I too took a break.................from my desk......can you ?

One may work and work and think you know much -i love nature since it teaches new things every day -nothing is the same - we don't step on the same step every day . The much publicized fam trip 12-17 may finally got me of my desk in the the world i sell. I was thrilled by everything and got to take many pictures and videos...i agree that some road we have are not the best but then its a safari and it would be on tarmac roads. The surprising wildlife make you forget everything you experience on the rough road. not all road are same  - some are very tarmac and got get a smooth ride.
New smiles make me even better as compared to the busy Nairobi city - where everyone is moving to somewhere and nowhere.i went to the Aberdares and once again the place i will keep on going is our villa at Mweiga overlooking the mount Kenya -Always a peaceful place -even if it was raining the warm fire kept us warm. the mountain lodge Serena is also a good place to visit the rooms are variably small as compared to other place ( but anyway what was i expecting since the last many  times i was there they were the same) the road is all tarmac to the lodge. The treetops is another must visit the tree actually grows inside - quite a sight to see and the elephants covered with red mud. be ready to wake up at 3am in the morning to the wildlife from the salty water pool. then we were off to nakuru and as usual this park with its notorious hilarious monkey  and the rear white rhino - well our driver must have been having a birds view we got to see it all. so it wasn't until we got to maasai mara and i thanked God, i was born in Kenya - the other areas had hills and valleys also green and bushy - animals grazing all over - but there were the plains of mara . as far as the eyes can see the horizons looked beautiful keeps your mind away from the road - leave that to the drive and look around because hunger will be the next thing on my mind. So we stayed at the mara sarova tented camp and visited other lodges and tents that we normally use on our regular trips and finally a maasai dance from the manyattas. what can i say - am glad i got off behind the desk and exp rolled more....hope you will do it soon
